I'm brand new and I don't really know where to begin

I've been doing it a while but I feel lost and overwhelmed

I'm managing but I need more structure and confidence

I need a qualified teacher to take over my child's reading and writing

I want someone to take over as I don't have the time and we keep getting stuck

When it comes to your child's reading and writing, what feels most true right now?

They're falling behind and I'm worried about the gap growing

I don't have the time or energy to teach them properly alongside everything else

I've tried things but nothing seems to be working

They're losing confidence and starting to give up

Mainstream phonics programmes (Jolly Phonics, CGP, Schofield & Sims, 100 lessons curriculum)

Nothing yet as I'm not sure where to start

Just starting and learning their first letter sounds

Reading simple words but struggling with longer ones

Reading but lacking confidence and fluency

They enjoy it and will pick up a book themselves

They really want to read but can't yet or rely on me to read to them

They get upset or anxious when it's time to read

Not yet, they usually guess or ask for help

They know some like "sh" and "th" but get stuck on others
